The Government is offering around 100 summer jobs to university students. The offer will be available from next Monday 26
th July until of 24th September although students needing to depart earlier to attend university will be able to do a shorter placement.
Working hours will be 10.00 in the morning to 2.00 in the afternoon (four hours daily), without a lunch break, Monday to Friday. Remuneration will be £120 per week (£6 per hour), free of tax and social insurance contributions.
Opportunities exist in the Treasury Department, Income Tax Office, Statistics Office, Department of Social Services, Education Department, Care Agency, Gibraltar Electricity Authority, Gibraltar Health Authority, Gibraltar Audit Office, Magistrate’s Court and Supreme Court.
