The Right Reverend Monsignor Charles Caruana, The Bishop of Gibraltar, held a special Mass on Monday 19th October at the Church of Our Lady of Dolours in Fulham. 

During the Tercentenary Year (2004), Bishop Caruana presented a statue of our Lady of Europe to our Lady of Dolours Church, in memory of all Gibraltarians who had adopted this church as their own during the evacuation of the Gibraltarians to London during the Second World War.

This special Mass was attended by the Chief Minister of Gibraltar, the Honourable Peter Caruana QC MP together with other Gibraltar dignitaries who were in London to celebrate the Gibraltar Day in the City of London.
