The Ministers

Elections are held every four years. There are four political parties in Gibraltar. The current government party is the Gibraltar Social Democrats and were elected in 1996. They are now in their third term.

The opposition is made up of a coalition of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party and the Liberal Party of Gibraltar.

HM the Queen is represented by the Governor His Excellency Lt. General Sir Robert Fulton KBE.
