The Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce

The Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary association of business interests. A main function of the Chamber is to act as a pressure group voicing its opinion on relevant policy and commercial business.

An equality vital function of the Chamber is to give day-to-day support and guidance, plus a range of services to member businesses.

The Chamber is also a source of information to visiting businessmen about local trading conditions, and is always pleased to answer enquiries from potential investors or trading partners who request this by phone fax or e-mail.

Through its Business Centre, the Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce provides a comprehensive range of office services, including use of an office, fax or bureau, poste restante and secretarial services.

The Chamber also issues ATA Carnets Certificates of Origin and Statutory Declarations. Membership of the Chamber is available upon application and subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

The objectives of the Chamber are:

• The Regulation of relations between members and their employees, between members as employers and between members and other employers.
• The promotion and protection of the trading interests of Gibraltar and the promoting of measures calculated to benefit and protect its trading interest, and to present and express on commercial questions the opinions of the mercantile community of Gibraltar.
• The consideration of all questions connected with such trade.
• The promoting or opposing of legislative and other measures affecting such trading interests.
• The collection and circulation of information relating to trade, shipping and manufacture.

The doing of all such other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objectives.
